In January 1999, the first Dependent release came in the form of SEPTIC, a
limited edition label compilation featuring exclusive and unreleased material from some
of the best bands in the business.
The labels first full-length release, Velvet Acid Christ's "Fun With Knives", followed on later that year.
Intervention Arts continues to imports titles from Dependent including VNV Nation, Covenant, Rotersand, Pride and Fall, Suicide Commando, Seabound & Velvet Acid Christ.
