	Single "Jennifer" from Ashton Nyte's forthcoming album, "The Valley" is selected as a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition	February 28, 2010 Chicago, IL - Along with the unreleased "Homeland" in the Performance category, "Jennifer" was also selected as a semi-finalist in the Adult Album Alternative category in the renowned International Songwriting Competition for 2009. Out of over 15,000 entries, our Mr. Nyte's two entries made it in to the top 40 for each category submitted!

	Ashton Nyte's The Valley soon to be available worldwide	February 19 2010 Chicago, IL - The fifth solo album from South Africa's acclaimed recording artist Ashton Nyte is about to be released throughout the United States and beyond. The album entitled The Valley features eleven tracks composed, performed and produced by Nyte, who describes the album as a his most personal yet. The artist has also released eight full-length studio albums as The Awakening in addition to his five solo albums, along with several music videos, EPs and a greatest hits album. The Valley is "a collection of songs caressed with Americana styling as uniquely as only a non-American could." From the title track that weaves a sepia-toned film reel of old western imagery to the intensely emotional closing track "Uncertain Light," The Valley is an epic work composed and recorded over the past five years of Nyte's career, summoning sunrays and thundercloud together in an ingeniously crafted pictorial. With every track Nyte reveals some of his most profound American influences; Springsteen's "Nebraska" comes to mind, entwined with delicate doses of Johnny Cash and Nick Cave. The music of Ashton Nyte is an intelligently and exquisitely executed blend of poetic lyrics, astounding vocals and infectiously original melodies that we are very proud to present; each song testifies to the artist's dedication to perfecting his craft, and reflects years of experience and passion for the art of songwriting and performing.

	The Awakening New Album: Tales of Absolution & Obsoletion	The Awakening's eighth full-length studio album was released June 2009 on Intervention Arts. The Album features a return to Zeen-era classic gothic rock with plenty of dance floor anthems, atmospheric instrumentals, and more. A full tour of the United States is underway, beginning in August. 	IA Ten Year Anniversary: March 1999 - 2009	Intervention Arts was founded in Johannesburg, South Africa in March of 1999. Over the years the company has enjoyed it's involvement with the arts community and greater entertainment industry worldwide. In our ten years we have been involved with distribution, marketing, promotion, production and almost every other facet of music. We have acted as a booking agency, hosted charity events, international concerts and tours and even launched a few nightclubs along the way. Our studios have released some wonderful albums which we remain very proud of. Today we celebrate opening offices and studios in Chicago, USA in addition to those in Johannesburg, South Africa and look forward to the next 10 years of this wonderful industry. Thank you to all the fabulous people we have had the privilege to work with and continue to inspire. Here's to the new Renaissance..
